The Calamianes Group of Islands, also known as Calamianes, located in Northern Palawan, comprises four main islands: Busuanga, Coron, Culion, and Linapacan, and smaller islets. Because of its highly diverse and extensive coastal and marine ecosystems, Calamianes is one of the identified Marine Key Biodiversity Areas in the country. The Program’s support will focus on NbS for climate adaptation in the four watersheds, from upland, to coastal and marine ecosystems across the four islands.
